As you perform these Pilates exercises one after another, in a very specific order without a lot of repetition and you will realize the impact that is created with Pilates. A few small exercises quickly accumulate into some very large changes in how you feel and how you look.

This is by far the hardest question that we answer. But this is our standard answer (which by the way is worth nothing compared to giving one class a try): Pilates is a combination of many focuses. If you combine the breathing and flexibility components of yoga; put on top of that your typical western strength training and on top of that you put a huge emphasis on posture and alignment, then you begin to approach what Pilates is all about. Even though we would love for you to come watch a class, what you see other people doing and how those exercises actually feel are two hugely different things.
